The Sierra Nevadas, or Sol Y Nieve, as the Spainish call it, has been the resort I have used for the past seven years. The night life here is not your usual St Anton or Meribel, however the overall Skiing is good for begginers and medium ability skiers, with many Blue Green and Red runs. The lifts are well maitained and are not busy, so the waiting is short term, with two Gondolas to the upper slopes. The slopes are well groomed with an abundance of snow making jets for the less wintery days, when many non skiers take the Gondolas to the upper slopes to sit and enjoy the sun. Best Skiing, mid January to late February.
